Description

Farmhouse. Late C18 with mid C19 rear wings. Datestone in north west gable inscribed "L H 1801". Coursed ironstone and brick, with thatched and slate roofs. Brick coped gables with kneelers, 2 gable and 2 ridge brick stacks. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Ground floor openings have wooden lintels. West front has central C19 half-glazed door with lattice porch, flanked by 3-light casements. Beyond, to right, a triple casement and to left, a double casement. Above, a central 3-light casement flanked by single 2-light casements and beyond, single 3-light casements. Between the windows farthest to the left, a coped stone sundial. 2 rear wings have mainly C20 fenestration.
