Description
Bridge. Early C19. Red and grey brick string course at base of parapet. Blue brick coping and parapet. Plain brick arch. The Grand Union Canal was authorised by Act of Parliament in 1810. The Watford section was completed c.1814. (A.H. Faulkner, The Grand Junction Canal, 1972, p.187-8).
