Description

Bridge. Early C19. Brick. Plain brick arch and brick string course at base of parapet. Iron plaque inscribed '7' over arch. The Grand Union Canal was authorised by Act of Parliament in 1810. The Watford section was completed c.1814. (A.H. Faulkner, The Grand Junction Canal, 1972, p.187-8).
