Description
House, formerly farmhouse. Mid C18. Coursed limestone rubble, slate roof, brick end and ridge stacks on stone bases. 3-unit plan. 2 storeys and attic; 4-window range. 6-panel door to right of centre with overlight within C19 timber porch. A blocked door with stone lintel and keyblock to far left, 3-light casement windows with stone lintels and keyblocks left and right, central C19 canted bay window and 2-light casements to first floor with stone lintels and keyblocks. Quoins and stone-coped gables with kneelers. Extension to left raised a floor C19. Plank door and 2-light casements to ground and first floors. Interior has ogee stop-chamfered spine beams and open fireplace with ogee stop-chamfered bressumer, dog-leg staircase with turned balusters and stone corner chimneypiece in upper room with segmental arched head and imposts.
