Description
Farmhouse. Late C18. Red brick with flared headers. Old plain-tile roof, brick end stacks. Central staircase plan. 2 storeys and attic; 5-window range. Central 6-panel door with overlight approached by 3 moulded stone steps and with gabled C19 hood on brackets. 12-pane sash windows throughout with stone sills and gauged brick lintels with stone keyblocks. Plinth, brick dentilled cornice, 3 hipped dormers and stone coped gables with kneelers. Lower 2-storey one-window wing to right with nogged brick eaves. 2-storey kitchen wing to rear, brick, part stone. Interior has open well staircase with dado, slender turned balusters and ramped handrail.
