Description
Farmhouse. Datestone 1666, mainly mid C18 and mid C19. Squared coursed limestone with concrete tile roof. Originally 2-unit plan. 2 storeys with attic. 2-window range of C19 sash windows under wood lintels. Central C20 glazed door also under wood lintel. Ashlar gable parapets and ashlar stacks at ridge and ends. Datestone with arms of Sanderson family is above the door and is probably reset. Mid C19 three-window range in similar style is attached to left and has 6-panel door with glazed top-lights to right. Said to have been home of Sanderson family who held the manor of Little Addington. Originally probably farmhouse to manor house, now demolished. (V.C.H.: Northamptonshire, Vol.3, p.160).
