Description

Vicarage. Dated 1697 extended and altered C19. Coursed limestone rubble, slate roof, stone end stacks each with pair of brick diagonal flues. 3-unit plan. 2 storeys and attic; 3-window range. Panelled, part-glazed double-leaf doors to right of centre with moulded wood surround and straight hood. Canted bay windows to ground floor left and right. 2-light casement windows to 1st floor with wood lintels. Ironstone datestone to 1st floor centre, below eaves, inscribed T/TE/1697. Dormer window above door with barge-boarded gable. Stone-coped gable with kneelers to left. Early C19 2-storey, 3-window extension to right has stone ridge stack with pair of diagonal brick flues, pair of sash windows to ground floor with wood lintels and casements to 1st floor; stone-coped gable with kneelers to right. Wing to rear left with further C19 extension. Interior not inspected.
