Description

House, now two dwellings. C17 and early C19. Ironstone ashlar, some brick. Slate roofs, brick end and ridge stacks. 2-storey and attic, 3-window range. C17 west range has early C19 wide, shallow timber bay window to ground floor, 16-pane sash window with timber lintel to first floor, single 6-pane sash in coped stone gable with kneelers. C19 glazed lean-to conservatory to left. Early C19 three-storey east range has two 16-pane sashes, one with lintel on ground floor left of canted timber bay. First floor has two 16-pane sash windows with stone lintels. Similar sashes to second floor which break through eaves and have dormers with barge-boarded gables. House now divided into two units; entrances at sides of building. Single 2-light mullioned window with hood mould in rear west gable. C20 extensions to rear. Interior of west range has some stop-chamfered beams and blocked three-light mullioned window on first floor east wall.
