Description

House. Probably early C16, datestone 1687. Squared coursed lias, timber frame with brick and cob infill panels and corrugated metal roof. T-shape plan. 2 storeys, 2-window range. Stone cross-wing to left with timber-framed wing at right angles. C19 casement windows to left. C19 canted bay-window to cross wing has 3-light stone mullion above. C20 door to left of centre has C19 moulded wood surround. Ashlar gable parapets to cross wing and brick stacks to ridge and laterally to cross wing. Datestone on cross wing. Right gable rebuilt in brick. Interior not inspected but noted as having open fireplace and chamfered ceiling beams.
