Description

House. Early C18. Ironstone ashlar, C20 tile roofs, brick ridge and end stacks. L-shaped plan. 2 storeys and attic; 2-window left range at right angles to slightly lower 3-window range. Part-glazed 4-panel door at left end of 3-window range within glazed lean-to conservatory porch. Left range on return has 12-pane sash windows with moulded stone sills, surrounds and lintels with keyblocks. Datestone inscribed 'TG/E 1730' between upper windows. Chamfered quoins to front angle. Coped stone gable with kneelers. Lower range has 2- and 3-light casements with timber lintels. Gable end of wing has a 2-light stone-mullioned attic window with hood mould; datestone inscribed 'IA/W 1704'. Interior: stop-chamfered beams.
