Description
2 houses. Late C17/early C18. Squared coursed limestone with thatch roofs. Originally 2-unit plans. Single storey with attics. Together comprising a 4-window range of C19 style casements under wood lintels. 3 similar casements, to attic, are under eyebrow dormers. Two C20 doors between windows range, also under wood lintels, with C20 wooden porches. Brick stacks at ridge and end. Rear elevation similar with eyebrow dormers. Interior not inspected but noted as having remains of open fireplaces and beams with knotched ogee stops. (RCHM: An Inventory of Architectural Monuments in North Northamptonshire: p28)
