Description

Orangery and attached game larder. Early C19. Squared coursed limestone with ashlar façade. Slate and part-glazed roof. 2 rectangular units, forming a double depth plan. Single storey. Main front is of 5 bays with a tall, central, glazed door and tall flanking sash windows, all with glazing bars and plain ashlar surrounds. Gabled roof set behind plain ashlar parapet. Unit attached to rear of orangery was the game larder and has a central doorway with flanking casement openings. Interior of game larder retains some game hooks.
