Description

House. C17, altered C18, C19 and C20. Coursed ironstone rubble, stone slate roof, central brick and stone stack. 2 storeys and attic, 3 bays. C19 canted bay windows in left and right bays. Central window (in place of doorway) has wood lintel and C20 metal casement. Blocked mezzanine window to left of centre, one-light with plain stone frame. 2-light casement windows with wood lintels in left and centre bays on first floor. 3-light window in right bay with wood lintel and C20 wood casement. C20 gabled dormer. Coped gable ends with kneelers. 3-light first floor window on left side has stone hood, wood mullions and old iron casement. 2-light attic window with wood lintel and old iron casement. Extension to right of C18/C19. Squared coursed ironstone, artificial stone slate roof. 2 storeys, 2 bays. 2-light window on ground floor with wood lintel and C20 metal casement. C20 lean-to porch on right side has doorway with wood lintel and plank door. Interior not inspected, but said to have been remodelled c.1970.
