Description
Pair of cottages. Early C18, altered C20. Coursed ironstone rubble, asbestos tile roof, brick stacks. 2 storeys, 5 bays. No. 1, to left, has doorway in left bay with wood lintel, half-glazed door and corrugated iron hood. 3-light window to right has wood lintel and old iron casement. Similar window in left bay on first floor. C20 two and 3-light casement windows with wood lintels in second and third bays from left on both floors. Entrance to No. 2 in second bay from right has wood lintel and half-glazed 4-panel door with side light. C20 canted bay window in centre, and 2-light window with old wood lintel and C20 wooden casement to right. Two one-light windows with plain stone frames at mezzanine level to left of centre. 2-light casement windows with wood lintels on first floor. Interior not inspected. Included for group value.
