Description
Farmhouse. Late C17 origins, mainly mid C19. Squared coursed limestone with lias dressings and slate roof. 4-unit plan. 2 storeys. 5-window range of 3-, 4- and 6-light wood-mullioned and transomed windows with cast-iron diamond glazing bars under gauged stone arches. Blank window to far right. The centre and flanking bays break forward with gables. Central C20 door has overlight under gauged stone head. Ashlar gable parapet and brick and stone stacks at ridge and ends. Blank tablets in each gable. Gable to right has a C17 two-light stone-mullioned window. Range of C19 outbuildings and stables attached to rear in similar style.
