Description
Town house. Late C18 with C19 additions. Ironstone ashlar with slate roof. Double-depth plan. 3 storeys. 5-window range. Central 6-panelled door has moulded wood surround with reeded pilasters and arched fanlight and glazing bars. Sash windows, reducing in height at second floor, have glazing bars and flat arch heads with keyblocks. Central first and second floor windows have arch heads. Cyma moulded cornice. Ashlar gable parapets and kneelers. Brick and stone stacks at ends. Rear has one C18 arch-head staircase window. Interior: fine C18 staircase with stick balusters around a circular well. Some 6-panelled doors.
