Description
Farmhouse. Late C17. Coursed squared ironstone slate roof, stone end and ridge stacks, that to left with flue rebuilt in brick. 3-unit plan. 2 storeys and attic; 4-window range. 6-panel door with overlight to left of centre in gabled timber porch. 3-light casement windows to ground floor, 2-light to first floor except for first floor right of 3 lights with timber lintels. Quoins and stone coped gables with kneelers. 2-window wing to rear left. Interior: flagged floor, boxed spine beams, late C18 staircase: dog-leg with landings and stick balusters and ramped handrail. Collar-truss roof. Formerly part of Knightly estate.
