Description
House, now Public House. C17. Altered C18 and C19. Squared coursed ironstone and coursed rubble, slate roof, brick stacks. 2 storeys and attic; 3 bays. Doorway in second bay from left has moulded wood frame, 6-panel door and flat timber hood on iron brackets. C20 bay windows on either side. 2-light window in left bay on first floor has wood lintel and C20 metal casement. 2-light window in centre with plain stone frame and old iron casement. Window to right has C17 moulded stone frame and 2-light wood casement. Coped left gable end with kneelers, hipped roof to right. Interior: Chamfered beams, open fireplace, altered C20. Included for group value.
