Description
House. Early-mid C18, altered C19. Coursed limestone rubble, thatch roof, brick end stacks. 2-unit central-staircase plan. 2 storeys and attic; 3-window range. Central 4-panel door with overlight and wood lintel in gabled timber porch. 3-light casement windows to ground and 1st floor left and right, a similar 2-light casement over door, all with wood lintels. 2-light chamfered stone mullion cellar window to left gable end facing street, which has casement windows to ground and attic floors with wood lintels. Ironstone-coped gables with kneelers. Single-storey extension to right with pantile roof. Interior has ogee-stop-chamfered spine beam, open fireplace with cambered stop-chamfered bressumer and stone cellar.
