Description
House, formerly Public House. C18, remodelled C19. Coursed squared ironstone and coursed rubble, artificial stone slate roof, flanking brick and stone stacks. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Central doorway with wood lintel, 5-panel door (partly glazed) and timber lattice work porch. Flanking windows have wood lintels and 4-pane sashes with side lights. Similar windows on the first floor. Coped gable ends with kneelers. Interior not inspected. Formerly a public house called "The Dun Cow", and has traces of painted sign across the front advertising "Hopcraft and Norris Celebrated Ales".
