Description
Lodge house. Late C18 and mid C20. Squared coursed limestone with slate roof. Originally 2-unit plan. Single storey. Elevation to Mill Lane has central gable, 4-panel door with pointed head and C20 porch. Bulls-eye window in apex of gable. Central ashlar stack. Elevation to left is polygonal with casement windows, with pointed heads and glazing bars, to each of centre 3 faces. Moulded wood cornice. Similar 2-window range to rear. Elevation to left of entrance has C20 extension. Interior not inspected. Built as lodge house to Wadenhoe House (q.v.). Included for group value.
