Description
House, formerly farmhouse. Early C19 with earlier origins. Coursed squared ironstone, slate roof, brick end stacks. 3-unit plan. 3-storey, 5-window range. 6-panel door to left of centre with panelled reveals and reeded wood surround with straight hood. 16-pane sash windows with flat-arched heads except for those to ground and first floor left with stone lintels and keyblocks. Plinth, quoins and stone-coped gables with kneelers. Interior has open-well staircase with turned balusters, possibly re-arranged, open fireplace with cambered ogee-stop-chamfered bressumer, stone-flagged floors and stone cellar.
