Description

A rifled round barrow with ditch. Diameter across 10yds (9m), height 8ft (2.5m). Ditch 2ft deep (60cm), 20ft across (6m). Large hole in centre. Ploughing in adjoining field appears to finish at ditch. {AM7} Dimensions unchanged {AM12 1979} Possibility that it is a windmill mound. (RCHM, 1979)
