Description

House, now 3 dwellings. Datestone I.H.A.G/1699. Squared coursed limestone with Colleyweston slate roof. Originally 3-unit plan. 2 storeys with attic. Together comprising a 5-window range of 2-light stone mullion windows at first floor. One similar window to ground floor far left. Other ground floor windows are C19 and C20 under wood and concrete lintels. 3 C20 doors to centre of range, that to left has a square-head moulded stone surround. Chamfered plinth and moulded string course, between floors. 5 C19 Lincolnshire dormers. Ashlar gable parapets and stone and ashlar stacks at ridge and end, that to centre has moulded stone cornices. Oval window in moulded stone surround with datestone above, to first floor left. C18 wing to rear of No. 72. Interior of No. 68 has early C19 staircase with stick balustrade and wreathed handrails; room to left has early C19 cornices.
