Description
Cottage. C17, renovated 1936. Coursed limestone and ironstone rubble, thatch roof, brick ridge and end stacks. L-plan. 2 storeys and attic; main range of 3 windows. Main range facing garden has glazed door to left of centre with C20 timber lintel, two 2-light casement windows to right, a similar window to left, and to first floor left, a small 2-light casement above door and 3-light casement to first floor right, all with timber lintels. Return wing has C20 door beside main range with timber lintel, a 2-light casement to ground floor, small rectangular window to left and 2-light casement to first floor, all with timber lintels. Straight joint to left of door and between return wing and main range. Interior noted as having chamfered spine beams and open fireplace with cambered bressumer.
