Description

House. Dated 1695, remodelled and extended 1931. Coursed squared ironstone, tile roofs, stone end and ridge stacks. T-plan, originally, with addition of wing of 1931. 2 storeys and attic. Entrance front facing High Street has C20 porch in angle, C20 stone mullion windows to ground floor, 3-light flat-faced stone mullion windows to first floor, mostly renewed, and gabled dormer cutting across eaves with similar 2-light window. Datestone to left gable end inscribed WB/1695. Similar stone mullion windows of 2 and 3 lights to garden front to south. Interior appears to date entirely from 1931 rebuilding.
