Description
Former public house. Dated 1737. Coursed squared ironstone, thatch roof, brick end stacks. 2-unit plan. 2 storeys and attic; 1-window range. 6-panel part-glazed door to left of centre in plastered and pedimented wood surround, a 3-light casement window to ground floor left, a similar 2-light window to right of door, a cellar window to far right and one 2-light casement window to first floor; all casements with stop-chamfered timber lintels. Datestone inscribed 1737 in right gable. Quoins and stone-coped gables with kneelers. Interior has chamfered spine beams and open fireplace with chamfered bressumer. Formerly the Queens Head public house.
