Description

Farmhouse. Dated 1716 with late C19 alterations. Coursed squared ironstone, thatch roof, blue brick end and ridge stacks on stone bases. 2-unit central staircase plan. 2 storeys and attic, 3-window range. 4-panel door with overlight and C19 tiled hood on brackets to left of centre, flanked by 3-light casement windows with timber lintels in shallow single-storey bays on blue brick plinths with tile roofs. 2-light casement windows to first floor with timber lintels. C19 porch to right against C19 single-storey wing projecting from right end of house. Quoins and stone coped gables with kneelers. Datestone in left gable inscribed RE/1716. Interior not inspected but noted as having chamfered spine beams.
