Description
House. Dated 1720. Coursed squared ironstone, thatch and slate roofs, brick end, ridge and internal stacks. L-plan. 2 storeys plus attic; 2-window range. Gable end faces street and has casement windows of 2- and 3-lights to ground and first floors, those to left with stop-chamfered timber lintels, a 12-pane sash window in gable to left with timber lintel and datestone above with hood mould and inscribed D/TS/1720, the 2 reversed; stone coped gable with kneeler to left. Slate roofed wing to right raised C19. Blocked cellar window with timber lintel. Entrance to yard on right; 6-panel door with timber lintel and moulded wood surround, immediately to right of street range, 1- and 2-light casement windows to ground and first floors. Front to yard has been raised in brick and is continued by thatched outbuilding range. Probably mid C18. Single storey. End bay is canted to yard.
