Description
House. Dated 1808 with C17 origins and C20 alterations. Coursed squared ironstone, C20 interlocking tile roof, limestone ashlar stone end stacks with moulded stone cornices. 2-unit plan. 3-storey, 2-window range. Central 6-panel door with stop-chamfered wood lintel and approached by one semi-circular stone step. 3-light casements to ground and 1st floors, 2-light casements to 2nd floor, all with stop-chamfered wood lintels, and stone sills. Central datestone below eaves inscribed D/WC.1808. Left gable end shows roofline of earlier building raised 1808 and of ironstone bonded with limestone. Brickwork to rear. Interior not inspected. Included for group value.
