Description
House. Dated 1707, altered C20. Coursed squared ironstone, banded with limestone, thatch roof, brick ridge stack. 2-unit plan. 2 storeys and attic; 2-window range. 4-panel door to far left with moulded wood surround in C20 porch. 2-light leaded casement windows to ground and 1st floors with wood lintels. Chamfered plinth, quoins and stone-coped gables with kneelers. Datestone to right gable inscribed TM/1707. C19 extension to rear left. Interior: ogee-stop-chamfered spine beams, stone-flagged flloor to hall. Sitting room has Tudor-arched ironstone fireplace with cut spandrels.
