Description
Cottage. Late C17/early C18, altered C20. Coursed limestone rubble banded with ironstone, plain-tile roof, stone end stacks. 2-unit plan. 2-storey, 2-window range. Central 4-panel, part-glazed door with wood lintel and gabled hood on brackets. 2-light casement windows to ground and 1st floors with wood lintels. Ironstone quoins and ironstone-coped gables with kneelers. Interior: ogee-stop-chamfered spine beams. Open fireplace with cambered ogee-stop-chamfered bressumer. Slender turned balusters, probably late C18, to rebuilt stair.
