Description
House. Dated 1689, altered C20. Coursed squared limestone with ironstone dressings, slate roof, stone end stacks. L-plan. 2 storeys and attic; 3-window range. Central plank door with 2-panel mouldings, moulded stone surround, leaded overlight and straight hood on brackets. 2-light casement windows to ground and 1st floors, those to ground floor with wood transoms and all with ironstone jambs and stone lintels with key blocks. 2-light wave-moulded stone mullion cellar window to right, ironstone quoins, storey band and stone-coped gables with kneelers. Datestone to right gable inscribed 1689 IS/F. Full-height wing to rear left with similar window. Interior has dog-leg stair with turned balusters and stone fireplace to 1st floor room with 4-centred head and cut spandrels.
