Description

Farmhouse. Mid C18, altered C19. Ironstone ashlar, C20 plain-tile roof, stone end stacks. 3-unit plan. 2 storeys and attic; 3-window range. Central 4-panel part-glazed door with stone lintel and key block in gabled stone porch. Blocked 1-light window immediately to right with stone lintel and key block. Otherwise tripartite sash windows to ground and 1st floors with wood lintels. Chamfered plinth, storey band, chamfered quoins, wave-moulded stone eaves, 2 gabled roof dormers and stone-coped gables with kneelers. Interior noted as having dog-leg stair with turned balusters. The main part of this range to right of carriage arch projects forward and coursed limestone walling banded with ironstone. Interior noted as having chamfered spine beams and open fireplace with chamfered bressumer.
