Description

Former school and master's house, now house. Dated 1852 on porch. Former school of squared coursed limestone with ashlar dressings, Collyweston stone slate roof with coped gables on traceried kneelers and moulded stone end stacks. One storey. Moulded eaves. Central gabled porch with arched entrance and board door, flanked by 3-light stone mullioned window with cusped heads. Hexagonal lead lattice glazing. Round window in left gable end. Master's house of coursed limestone rubble with Collyweston stone slate roof. Coped gable and moulded stone end stack. One storey and attic, 3-window range. C20 door flanked by 3-light windows. Stone lintels with keystones. Three 2-light gabled half-dormers. Interiors not inspected.
