Description

Watching brief showed that the development did not uncover any archaeological remains. Since the 1992 evaluation on the site, the ground makeup has been radically changed with a new retaining wall as well as pavements and roads around it. In doing this all medieval remains seem to have been removed. Only modern artefacts to a depth of 1.5m were uncovered.
