Description
{1} Twenty two metres of trial trench excavated. Several small features were identified (gullies, scoops etc) all of which had been heavily truncated by later activities on the site. Most of the features contained no artefacts or other dating evidence but one could be attributed to the late Saxon/early medieval period on the basis of associated pottery.
