Description

{1} The investigation established that datable medieval and post-medieval features, such as pits and ditches, and buried soil deposits survive in the western part of the development, despite the extensive modern disturbance. These features are not directly related to medieval and post-medieval structures but would have been present on the periphery of properties adjacent to the road. Finds of pottery, brick and tile, glass and animal bone were recovered during the investigation and include a number of medieval examples. Site code: OLH99.
