Description

{1} In December 2000 HAT carried out an archaeological desk-based study and field evaluation at 6/7 the Drapery, Northampton (NGR SP75396044). The interior and exterior of the building was examined and found to have originally been two separate properties constructed in the 18th century and joined in the early 19th century when the façade was re-faced. Vaulted stone basements were also recorded.
