Description

Evidence for two distinct periods of activity were identified by the trial trenching work. The earliest phase comprised a single linear ditch of probable Neolithic date found at the southern end of Area 5. The second consisted of a Middle lron Age settlement site represented by ring gullies, rectilinear enclosure ditches and pits, found in Area 3, Area 4 and the southern part of Area 5.
