Description

{1} Stratascan carried out a programme of geophysical survey on the DIRFT West site prior to trial trenching works. General magnetic susceptibility survey and an initial 10% sample of detailed magnetometry was carried out in July and August 2001, followed by detailed magnetometer on targeted areas in September 2001. A full description of the surveys with an introduction, methodology, results and conclusions accompanied by figures are presented in two reports produced by Stratascan. [NB. These two reports do not appear to have been submitted to the HER as they are not present within the DIRFT collection.]
