Description

A desk-based assessment of the archaeological implications of works on a Grade I Listed church examined the fabric of the church and its setting, as well as related documents. The church was found to have remained fundamentally unaltered since the 13th century, and documents indicated the existence of a church on the site from at least the 12th century. Non-invasive repair and conservation techniques were recommended, prior to any intervention.
