Description
{1} A geotechnical trial pit ground survey was undertaken by Exploration associates for Severn trent water Company in July 1995. The trial pits were observed by RPS Clouston to check for archaeological features and materials, establish the characteristics of the soil and determine the likelihood of survival for any potential archaeology. Test pits 1-5 at the northern end of the site were all devoid of archaeology, although the report sheets stated that the potential for survival of archaeology in these areas was good.
