Description

{1} Archaeological evaluation was carried out at Harlestone Quarry over a period of two days. Two 10 x 10m trial trenches were excavated over geophysical anomalies. Trench 1 contained only a natural glacial feature. Trench 2 contained three sub-circular pits, part of a pit alignment running east-west. Two of the pits were excavated, neither contained finds.
