Description

Desk based assessment and exterior archaeological building recording on the site and the structure of the latter address. Works showed a heavily redeveloped plot with a truncated historic frontage to Bridge Street (partly beneath pavement and road). Late 19th-century cellars were present along the Cattle Market Road. Elsewhere borehole data show 2m of relatively modern (but pre-cellarage) made-ground is widepsread.
