Description

An archaeological watching brief was undertaken in December 2004 during road widening works along Abthorpe Road, Towcester. The works cut through the site of Mileoak Roman villa which has been subject to archaeological investigation during the 1950s. Features that correspond with the archaeological information from the previous excavations were revealed.
