Description

{1} A watching brief was maintained during the ground works for the removal of churchyard access steps and grading of a section of an existing path to provide wheelchair access. Over the greater part of the development the works were either confined to the removal of an existing modern path and underlying topsoil, or where deeper, were massively disturbed by large tree roots. No distinct grave cuts or other archaeological features were identified. Medieval floor and ridge tile fragments were found.
