Description

{1} A total of 11 trenches was excavated. A number of ditches corresponding to a north-east/south-west orientated field system were identified. It is considered probable that elements of the field system may date to the medieval or post medieval periods although it is also possible that some of the identified features may date to the Iron Age and/or Roman periods. Three undated pits were also identified.
