Description

{1} An archaeological watching brief was undertaken during groundworks connected with the laying of a new drainage system, along with a new security cable for the Shepherd Boy statue that is located within the gardens. A truncated natural substratum was revealed throughout the ground-works. A single architectural fragment of 16th/17th date was recovered from unstratified deposits. No archaeological deposits were revealed.
