Description

An evaluation compromising six machine excavated trenches was carried out on the site. Four of the trenches contained archaeological remains. The remains were mainly in the form of linear features and pits which appeared to represent a field boundary and general activity relating to a nearby settlement. Pottery recovered from the site indicates a 12th-13th century date.
